Job Responsibilities

• Formulate and review business requirements for Global Finance system (Oracle Fusion Financials) and Global invoicing implementation

• Develop trust with key stakeholders

Location: Yio Chu Kang, one way transport pick up at AMK or Yio Chu Kang

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Salary: $3500 - $4000 Transport Allowance + Petrol : $1500

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle sales of company’s range of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic power tools, metal cutting saws and automotive servicing equipment

• Approach and penetrate key account dealers and end-users

• Attend to sales enquiries, establish rapport, and maintain good relationship with dealers and end-users

• Increase customer base to achieve sales target

• Provide technical support and training to dealers and end-users

Job Requirements:

• Degree’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 5 years of industrial sales experience

• Experience in managing dealers / end-users will be an advantage

• Team player with a mature personality and the ability to work independently under pressure

• Good command of spoken and written English, presentation skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for Centre for Research on Successful Ageing (ROSA).
• Research Planning and Implementation
  • Utilise JavaScript coding skills for customizing Qualtrics surveys and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of survey data.
  • Conduct thorough literature reviews on emerging technologies for longitudinal data collection (e.g. new technologies, releases, and patches that will enhance ROSA's work processes and services).
  • Apply strong project management skills to ensure timely planning, execution, and adherence to timelines and milestones for IT-related projects, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Data collection
  • Maintain IT systems, servers and databases based on ROSA's needs
    • Oversee the implementation, deployment, and operation of servers (Windows and Linux), databases, and technology solutions to the Centre's needs.
    • Ensure the security, backup, recoverability, and maintenance of servers, databases, and systems.
    • Execute command line operations on both Windows PowerShell and Bash.
    • Manage and maintain server health, including regular server administration tasks and tech refresh processes.
    • Administer NAS backup processes to safeguard critical data.
  • Implement and adhere to data security measures, including compliance with university policies, MOE & CSA requirements, and guidelines (e.g., Data Protection Officer, PDPA, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the University's IT department to ensure compliance and implement necessary changes to the Centre's IT systems.
• Data analysis and outreach
  • Automate daily reports for survey response rates and daily comments from survey respondents and highlight anomalies in the data collected.
  • Assist the ROSA team in quantitative analysis for research briefs and publications.
  • Prepare EDMs and maintain ROSA's mailing list for outreach efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.
• Proficiency in MySQL database management.
• Expertise in overseeing the implementation, deployment, and operation of Windows and Linux servers, databases, and technology solutions.
• Strong command line skills on both Windows PowerShell and Bash.
• Experience in server and security management.
• JavaScript coding skills for Qualtrics survey customisation.
• Knowledge and experience in NAS backup administration.
• Effective collaboration with the University's IT department.
• Proven ability to ensure the security, backup, recoverability, high availability, serviceability, and maintenance of servers, databases, and systems.
• Proactive monitoring of new technologies, releases, and patches.
• Strong project management skills for timely execution and adherence to timelines and milestones.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
