• Perform virological assays in cell culture for a wide variety of RNA pathogens, including chikungunya virus, Zika virus, dengue viruses, enteroviruses, influenza virus
• Work with mouse infection models to test antiviral therapies
• Conduct laboratory experiments in antiviral drug testing and perform data analysis for industry/research collaboration projects
• Perform meticulous recordkeeping and able to draft delivery report to industrial partners

The successful candidate will join the Data Management Group at the Bioinformatics Institute (BII) within the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). The Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI), Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM) is the national data standardisation framework adopted by Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) for real world evidence studies. This project will study and propose feasible solution to retrofit existing coastal protection structures. Special feature of this proposed solution is that it must be able to reduce seawater seepage, using innovative way of impervious material. The Associate is a member of the Research & Projects team and will report to the Director of Research & Projects.
