The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop, inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies. The Earth Observatory of Singapore – Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow / Scientist / Engineer to support CTP Cross Cutting Theme 2 (Satellite Remote Sensing). EOS-RS and CTP welcomes applications from qualified candidates who have interests and expertise relevant to the use of remote sensing for mapping, monitoring, and understanding the causes and effects of climate change. • Support Risk Management by screening and strengthening contracts, procurement practices, and SOPs for joint-venture projects.
• Attach to project companies for short durations to provide procurement and contracts management support.
• Review project Procurement and Contracts Management Policies and Processes for compliance with Group policies.
• Oversee and resolve delayed and disputed costs, including variation claims.
• Develop and implement strategies for managing Extension of Time (EOT) claims, providing comprehensive support throughout the process.
• Provide assistance and guidance to other departments on procurement activities, ensuring compliance with the Group’s procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Relevant experience in preparing Tenders for Building, Civil & Infrastructure, and interior design works across infrastructure, industrial, residential, and commercial projects.
• Familiarity with Contracts, Law, and local legal requirements, with strong contractual and pricing knowledge in Vietnam, Indonesia, and China being an advantage.
• Professional qualifications from recognized Quantity Surveying bodies (e.g., SISV, RICS, MRICS) are preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Open to candidates from Developer, Consultancy, or Contractor backgrounds.
• Regional exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving/transferring/checking and storing incoming goods
• Loading and unloading from containers and loose shipment
• Report any product damages
• To support general warehouse operations
• Practice good handling and usage of all Material-handling equipment (MHE) for warehouse
• Responsible for adhering to EHS procedures and requirements
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior from time to time

Requirements:

• Ability to operate lifting equipment such as forklift, reach truck etc.
• Ability to carry out simple daily maintenance to lifting equipment
• Past working experience in warehousing or related industry
• Some basic EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) knowledge

Duties and Responsibilities

· Checking & Matching invoices with GRNs

· Follow up with vendors for outstanding invoices based on Dos

· Ensure there is no outstanding GRNs and invoice before month end closing

· Update invoices daily in NAV and post them after review by the Accounts Executive

· Monthly reconciliation of suppliers’ statements of account (SOA)

· Liaise with purchasers / suppliers for any discrepancies in invoicing

· Ensure all the Dos received are in order

· Preparation of monthly payments for local and overseas supplier

· Prepare staff claim

· Process creation and maintenance of vendors in system

· Update the vendor's payment in the cash book

· Answer calls from suppliers regarding payment status.

· Assist in mid-year and year end stock take

· Assist in annual fixed asset and minor asset sighting

· Assist in filling and other administrative works

· Any other ad-hoc duties required

Job Requirement

· Min. GCE “N” level or CEO “O” Level

· 2 years of related experience

· Good team player with positive work attitude and strong initiative

· Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Proficiency in Microsoft office

· Possesses good analytical and communication skills
