The Memory Aging & Cognition Centre (MACC) is a Research Center within the National University Health System funded by the Singapore National Medical Research Council that focuses on the study of dementia and cognitive impairment in the elderly. The MACC currently has 4 research themes on (i) neurochemistry, molecular pathology and biomarker discovery, (ii) neuroimaging, (iii) clinical assessment and (iv) epidemiology.

Duties and Responsibilities

(A) SPECIFIC (80%)

1. Conduct neuropsychological assessment and follow-up of patients and subjects for mood, anxiety, stress, resilience, personality traits, behaviour/habits, and emotional and social intelligence, ensuring standardised testing procedures are followed.
2. Collect, manage, and organise research data with attention to detail and data integrity.
3. Perform data analysis using statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, Python) to identify trends and correlations related to cognitive impairment.
4. Assist in the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for dissemination of study findings.
5. Maintain clear and accurate records of all research activities.
6. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and data analysts.
7. Adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements for research involving human subjects.
