Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting.
- Prepare and analyse monthly management reports for the Group and All entities
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and collections
- Review monthly vendor reconciliations and process vendor payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Monitor and manage day to day banking functions for smooth flow of operations.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including the preparation and submission of GST and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits, liaising with external auditors to ensure timely and efficient audit processes.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.:
- Identify areas for process improvement within the finance and accounting functions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, with Professional accounting certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar financial control role, preferably within the EPC industry.
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Supervisory of 2-3 team members would be preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
