RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist doctors and registered nurses in simple procedures
• Documenting, monitoring and recording observations of residents and their vital signs and reporting changes in condition to the registered nurse
• Supervise / assist residents in their daily needs (e.g. personal grooming and daily living activities)
• Escort residents for medical appointments
• Guide residents to participate in development and recreational programmes
• Provide general supervision of residents

Job Summary

A Postdoctoral position is available at the Berkeley Education Alliance for Research in Singapore (BEARS) with Assistant Professor Yanwei Lum. The goal of the project is to develop electrochemical systems for CO2 conversion and work with high sensitivity analytical tools that would be amenable for high throughput screening and reaction mechanism investigation. The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Screen and develop mitigation strategies of cell culture systems with AI-assisted tools;
• Build scaled-up cell culture meat systems and test the proposed antimicrobial strategies;
• Draft research reports and manuscripts;
• Attend conferences and events to publicize the research outcomes and initiatives;
• Guide research students and advise their thesis.
