We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Assistant Manager to oversee the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role involves providing insights to senior management for decision-making while managing day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with various departments to align financial objectives with company goals.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

Financial Planning & Strategy

• Support the development of long-term financial strategies to ensure profitability and growth.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Advise on investment decisions, capital expenditures, and financing options.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including tax filing, audits, and financial reporting standards
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate year-end audits and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure that all accounting and financial procedures meet legal and internal guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, with proven track record of leadership.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in financial management software (TMS, MYOB & Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review strategies on client satisfaction pertaining to operations.
• Develop and direct company’s overall budget planning strategy, plans and cost saving practices.
• Responsible for Units financial budgets and preparation of periodic financial reports / statements for management purposes.
• Supervise and work closely with Director Operations on the Unit financial target and ensure their operating effectiveness.
• Implement appropriate and efficient approaches to meet sales target.
• Continue review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s policies, procedures, processes and identify improvement opportunities in line with the defined Business Units performance framework.
• Work closely with Unit Manager to ensure that the deployment of manpower effectively serves the critical goals and needs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Unit Manager on addressing the service, organization and cost saving issues.
• Build and maintain good working relationship with the clients.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing multiple sites in a Managerial position.
• Resilient & ability to perform under pressure excellent communications & interpersonal skill.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Oversee and manage the outlets’ Profit and loss by meeting monthly sales target
• Develop and establish a financial budget and plans
• Excellent organizational skills, highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention and initiative

• Assist the store manager in realizing or exceeding determined sales plans and target metric objectives
• Ensure consistent execution of company’s marketing and visual presentation
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise on counter or tables to promote sales
• Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and report concerns to management
• Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transaction and bulk count as guided by management
