• To identify several overlayer-substrate material combinations suitable for epitaxial moiré superlattices
• To carry out epitaxial growth of the overlayer that forms a moiré superlattice on a substrate in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) chamber
• To analyze the atomic and electronic structures of epitaxial moiré superlattices using scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM/STS)
• To analyze experimental data, comparing with computational results and draft manuscripts for publication
• To provide guidance and assistance to the PhD and Master students doing similar experimental studies in this project.

Job Description:

• Be a member of the leadership team to achieve the vision and mission of the National GaN Technology Centre (NGTC).
• Lead the Technology, Engineering and Industry team in technology road mapping and R&D pathfinding in device architecture, fabrication process technology, and MMIC design.
