The Job:

Your role is to provide efficient and effective integrated person-centred health and social care to residents residing in SingHealth region. The Associate Executive will play an essential role in supporting SingHealth Polyclinic’s daily office routines. He/she is also expected to provide operational and administrative support for the department and facilitate work process integration. With an analytical mind and a clear understanding of long and short-term objectives, he/ she is also expected to assist the supervisor in the process improvement for the department.

The Job

You will provide prompt and quality front-line services to patients. Your role will involve registration and scheduling appointments for patients and collecting of payments from patients. You will also assist nursing and clinical staff with patients related activities and provide clerical support to the department. You will also be trained to perform oral, mid turbinate or nasopharyngeal swab and collecting the specimens for testing when deployed in pandemic roles as and when required.

Job Requirements

• GCE 'O' or GCE 'N' Levels, preferably with Certificate in Office Skills

You will support Admitting Services Department in performing registration services, providing financial counselling and collecting of payment / deposits from patients.

• Register patient admissions / visit information in the required system at Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM)
• Provide estimated hospital charges to every patient’s admission

The Job:

The Patient Service Associate (PSA) will serve as a point of contact who assists Community Nurses and Senior Care Coordinator Associates (SCCAs) / Care Coordinator Associates (CCAs) to answer calls and attend to general enquiries from SingHealth residents and patients. He/she will manage registration, appointment scheduling, referrals and billing to ensure smooth consultation with SingHealth HSG team. He/she will support the SingHealth HSG team in administrative and secretariat duties such as referral management, data collection and management, report collation and arrangement of multidisciplinary team sessions.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC/GCE N/O/A Levels with 2 years of experience
• Diploma holders (preferably healthcare related) with 0 years of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good organising and coordinating skills

Reporting to the Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounts of grants under SingHealth HQ. Your duties include preparing or verifying claims to funding agencies, liaising with stakeholders on grant-related matters, supporting the procurement, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions of the grants such as verification of purchase requisitions and invoices, receipt of grant disbursements, attending to audits, and performing month-end and financial year-end closing of grant accounts.

You will report to Executive and assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager, Deputy Director and/or Chief Financial Officer.
