• Support and/or co-lead projects contributing industrial design, design engineering, systems design or product-service-systems development skillset.

Purpose

The Laboratory of Surgical System & Service Innovation (3SI) is a multi-disciplinary laboratory that provides a platform for cutting-edge surgical health services research that informs healthcare systems, policies, and programs to provide high-value, patient centered care for patients and their families undergoing surgery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, meticulous, and responsible research fellow or senior research coordinator with expertise and experience in qualitative research methods to complement the team. The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Interested applicants should have an extensive molecular biology experience to uncover the MOA/structure of our therapeutic using cellular signaling, cell biology or protein structure approaches and possess the desire to translate basic science to make a clinical impact. Previous work with genomic / CRISPR / proteomic screens (or similar) to understand the molecular biology of key oncogenic drivers will be an added advantage.

The Associate role is for fresh graduates to 1 year of working experience in accounting, audit, corporate or individual insolvency and/or restructuring space. Associate will be expected to assist in liquidation and restructuring engagements. Some of the areas of work includes (but not limited to):

· Preparation of documents for conflict checks;

· Liaising with clients on the documents required;

· Performing an analysis on the historical and current financial performance of the clients;

· Performing a review of historical transactions;

· Investigating the cause of the insolvency;

The jobholder will assist the healthcare team in providing basic caregiving activities and engagement to patients to ensure comfort and patient safety under the supervision of trained nurses. Overview*

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be involved in a multi-site cohort Human Biomedical Research study. You will be based at outpatient clinics across NUHS, at Alexandra Hospital or National University Polyclinics. You will be primarily responsible for subject recruitment and other research deliverables for the studies. You will work closely with the research team and the Principal Investigator of the study.

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

1) Subject Recruitment and follow up

• Be involved in subject recruitment, scheduling and data entry. Screen patients based on study eligibility, and communicate the study aims to potential subjects in layman terms.
• Obtain consent taking, administer study questionnaires and follow-up on study participants.
• Work closely with research team, clinicians, clinic staff and other relevant internal departments to ensure research study needs are met.
• Able to work on tight timelines, set sensible targets and achieve research deliverables.

2) Research Documentation / Administrative duties

• Conduct research study activities like patient recruitment, data collection and data management.
• Assist in data collection from electronic health records.
• Set up and maintain study investigator files, including records of consent taken and blood collection.
• Maintain study records in databases such as Redcap and in electronic health record systems.
• Responsible for maintaining strict adherence to research protocols i.e., HBRA.
• Liaise with investigators, clinicians and laboratory team to set up clinical workflows at multiple clinical departments for research recruitment.
• Prepare necessary documentation for audit purposes.
• Coordinate the submission of new IRB applications, study amendments and annual reports.
• Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with hospital policies, ethics requirements and local regulations.
• Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI.

Requirements*

• A diploma or equivalent in qualifications in Science/ Public Health/ Social Science with 2 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Science/ Public Health/ Social Science with 2 years relevant experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus to meet research deliverables and targets.
