About the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT)

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings together physicists, computer scientists and engineers to do basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing.

CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore. The Centre also has staff at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Job Description

The candidate will be working closely with researchers from CQT and from Duke-NUS. He/she will be using quantum inspired data-science algorithms to better understand regulatory gene networks using clinical data.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must hold a PhD in numerical quantum physics or similar;
• The candidate must have a strong background in numerical computations, with expertise in exact diagonalization and/or tensor networks. Competences in neural networks will also be considered.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree or related field, with over 6 years of experience in B2B systems related to customer service, orders, merchants, etc.
• Capable of leading overall product planning, possessing strong skills in product design and documentation, as well as solid conceptual and logical thinking abilities.
• Possesses a deep understanding of customer service systems, familiar with industry-standard customer service system design, and comprehends the core demands of customer support.
• Strong data analysis skills, as well as the ability to identify issues through data analysis and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to converse in Mandarin will be a plus

As a Retail Associate, you will be part of the exciting and new omni-channel retail team, representing PPP Coffee on the frontline to advance our mission in connecting people with coffee. You will oversee PPP Coffee's retail concept store and will be responsible for being the bridge between the product team and the coffee community by providing recommendations for both homebrewers and baristas from our range of coffee and equipment.

Job Description

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet(s) by PPP Coffee in Singapore

· Responsible for maintain the look-and-feel of the shop through visual merchandising and daily housekeeping

· Ensure a high standard of service is provided in the store at all times

· Conduct and follow up on requests for in-store demos, events and/or workshops

· Handle all customer queries and feedback in a professional and timely manner

· Participate in regular product trainings and/or workshops

· Track, monitor and maintain store inventory and ensure accuracy in monthly stock take

Minimum Requirements

· Able to speak fluent English and/or communicate confidently with a diverse group of people

· Able to work during weekends and public holidays

· Service oriented and a team player

Salary : $10 - $12 / hour
