Project Overview

We are hiring research engineers interested in advancing the state of the art in data-efficient machine learning at SMART in the new program: Mens, Manus and Machina: How AI empowers people and the city in Singapore (M3S).

With the recent emergence of large language models (LLMs), the research engineers will assist in investigating how data-efficient and resource-efficient techniques, such as data attribution, data selection/reweighting, data valuation, data curation, Bayesian optimization, active learning, can be applied in the context of LLMs (as well as important issues involving AI privacy, model auditability and updatability).

• Expert in CO2RR-based catalysts synthesis, structural characterizations using TEM/SEM/AFM/XRD/UV-Vis/GC-MS, surface science techniques of XPS/UPS, NAP-XPS, and electrochemical applications (electrocatalytic CO2RR) of these materials.

Experience:

• The candidate shall have extensive experience in CO2RR-based catalysts synthesis, interfacial analysis and electrochemical applications (electrocatalytic CO2RR) of these materials.

Key Responsibilities:

· Understand client requirements and provide strategic advice to key management of listed companies.

· Assist senior management in establishing strategies that support overall growth and business development.

· Organize investor meetings, conferences, media interviews and company visits for clients.

· Cultivate relationships with existing clients, and establish strong networks with the media, investors and regulatory bodies.

· Assist in marketing efforts and conduct market research. Develop pitching decks for existing and potential clients.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Public Relations, Investor Relations, Economic or Communications with at least 3 years of industry experience, preferably in audit, equity analysis, journalism or corporate communications.

· Strong presentation, interpersonal and project management skills.

· In-depth understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to oversee the data engineering team in NUS.

The role will be responsible for leading and guiding teams in the development of high-quality data lakehouse, ensuring they meet business needs and align with NUS strategic goals. The role will also ensure the proper implementation across all stages of the data lifecycle

This role will manage a team of 6 data engineers handling ELT/ETL framework and end-to-end data pipelines from various source systems to data lakehouse with a plan for future growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role and the candidate should have been on active hands-on development at least 5 years prior.
