• Assist the Manager in identifying wide range of corporate challenges/problems and solutions needed to achieve effective outcomes.

• Act as an intermediary between the service providers and the needs of the Group’s investees.

• Planning, coordinating, minuting and tracking outcome of meetings to achieve deliverables & purpose and meet deadlines.

• Coordinating with departments such as Accounting, Human Resources, and Finance including Cashflow Management to ensure that all operational needs are met and profitability is achieved.

• Support and assist in improving processes, SOPs, enhancing concepts, brainstorming ideas, and building financial models.

• Assist the management team in the development and implementation of Strategic Business Plans.

• Perform financial analysis of the Group’s investee portfolio, track buy/sell opportunities and offer recommendations as appropriate. Monitor performance of investee portfolio and trends.

• Conduct market study and competitor analysis of the Group’s investees.

• Conduct market research on specific industries to identify potential opportunities for further investments and providing recommendations to Management.

• Assist and conduct Due Diligence, Financial Analysis and Valuations on potential M&A opportunities.

• Assist by way of coordination and facilitation.

• Identify and analyse HR needs of each entity in the Group on an ongoing basis.

• Assist in HR matters which may include recruitment, promotion & termination, employee performance evaluations, policies & procedures, etc.

• Assist in the enhancement of reports so as to be able to more effectively monitor the progress on projects and to measure project profitability and performance against goals.

• Assist in information gathering and presentation of historical findings as necessary.

• Regularly present progress reports to Management.

Requirements

• Relevant Internship Experience preferred

• Degrees in Science, Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration/Management, Engineering are welcomed.

• Possess passion, positive & humble attitude, empathy and eagerness to learn.

• Effective communicator who is able to interact effectively and build interpersonal relationships with stakeholders.

• Independent self-starter who is open-minded and possesses excellent team spirit.

• Critical thinker who is resourceful and passionate about creating and implementing solutions.

• Naturally inquisitive, articulate, persevering and versatile.

• Required language(s): English, Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients)
