A Research Engineer to support the research for developing perception algorithms based on 4D radar. A Research Engineer position is available in the area of sensors perception and platform design in a project that involves simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithms and deep learning object detection.

The successful candidate will work with Prof. Danwei Wang and a group of Research Fellows, Research Associates, and Ph.D./Masters/Bachelors students in the school of EEE at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform research, development, implementation, and experimentation of the perception algorithms based on 4D radar
• Solve problems of robust perception in rainy weathers and expand the usage of the technologies to other weather conditions such as fog and smoke
• Utilize expertise in deep learning, simultaneous localization and mapping to contribute to research activities

• Conduct place recognition based on 3D and 4D radar fusion
