Key Responsibilities:

• Engagement Management:Plan, execute, and oversee audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  Review and approve audit work papers, financial statements, and audit reports prepared by the audit team.
  Identify and assess audit risks and develop strategies to address them.
  Ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and the firm’s quality control policies.

• Technical Expertise and Compliance:Stay current with developments in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry trends.

  Ensure that all audit engagements adhere to relevant professional standards and ethical guidelines.
  
• Business Development:Identify opportunities for expanding audit services and contribute to the firm’s business development initiatives.
  Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and other activities to promote the firm’s services and attract new clients.
  Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  
• Operational Efficiency:Monitor engagement profitability, manage billing, and ensure timely collection of fees.
  Implement and maintain efficient audit processes and methodologies to improve service delivery.
  Contribute to the development and improvement of audit tools, templates, and best practices.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in audit, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements and teams effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.

• Authorize, validate, and execute inbound and outbound instructions, ensuring proper communication and processing between stakeholders.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues or clarify event-related discrepancies.
• Proactively manage and reconcile cash and securities discrepancies, ensuring they are addressed and resolved within the required timeframes.
• Provide comprehensive support for complex customer queries, taking ownership of investigations to ensure accurate and efficient resolution.
• Escalate and report any significant issues, risks, or concerns to Management, ensuring appropriate follow-up and action.
• Assist with various tasks related to Corporate Actions, supporting the team as needed to ensure smooth operations and compliance with relevant regulations.
