Purpose of the post

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for sample preparation, single-cell isolation workflow optimization, and novel bacterial species characterisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art single-cell dispensing platform, develop expertise in high-output nanopore sequencing, and contribute to impactful scientific research.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Purpose of the post

To assist investigators in conducting a large-scale lifestyle intervention study according to study protocol, Singapore Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (SGGCP) and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements as well as institutional policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Research patient/Subjects Management

1. Gate keeping of the recruitment progress. Assist investigators in the screening and recruitment of potential patients/healthy volunteers as according to trial protocol.
2. Assist investigators in obtaining informed consent
3. Maintain and update screening log & enrolment logs
4. Schedule appointments for patients/subjects
5. Perform delegated procedures as required according to trial/study protocol
6. Ensure patients’/subjects’ compliance to trial medication / intervention

Research Patient/Subjects Management

1. Label and store specimens in the condition as specified in the trial protocol
