The National University Health System Virtual Care Centre (NUHS VCC) is an initiative where trained personnel provides tele-triage to patients and/or their caregivers. The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) shall help investigators conduct mainly investigator-initiated clinical trials. The CRC has to ensure that clinical trials are conducted and recorded in accordance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, all applicable regulatory requirements and the Clinical Trials Operations’ Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accomplish the study’s target enrolment as per agreed study timelines or shorter through effective recruitment strategies.
• Regular discussion or follow-up with study team on subject screening & recruitment rates eg. email communication or team meetings with Drs.
• Timely response/followup to email enquiries within 10 working days or less.

Key Requirements:

He/ She will be expected, but not limited to:

• Develop machine-learning and deep-learning solutions to address current clinical challenges, including segmentation, detection, and prediction, through the use of large-scale medical/ophthalmic images and data from state-of-the-art clinical platforms
• Perform research in medical image processing and develop novel approaches to multimodal imaging (2D and 3D) using imaging systems ranging from current clinical systems to novel imaging prototypes
• Conduct and coordinate research within SNEC/SERI and NTU in line with its research strategy and under the direction and supervision of the Principal Investigators and Collaborators
• Manage these research projects in a team-based, cross-functional research environment, which include supervising doctoral and master students, research assistants, and technical and other support staff
• Publish research outcomes in appropriate journals of international standing and to publish and disseminate the result of research and scholarship in other reputable outlets
