Job Decription:

The Health Informatics Officer (HIO) will be responsible for supporting the Medical Informatics Office to manage clinical information systems that assist clinicians in decision-making and the management of patients. The HIO participates in activities required for successful design, implementation, maintenance and support of the clinical systems. The HIO will work closely with IT Project/Systems Team to buil and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent uset to work with IHIS and vendors on design, UAT and implementation
• Assist in EMR project implementation
• Engage users in gathering information
• Train users in the use of Electronis Medical Records (EMR)
• Able to help IT configure electronics medical records (EMR)
• Implementing medical information systems
• Help to develop business continuity practices and processes, including downtime manual clinical operations
• Coordinate operations on the ground during system outages
• Engage Clinicians to improve awareness of medical informatics and explain informatics plan
• Engage clinicians to gather user requirement and feedback, including incorporating best practices into decision support
• Responsive to use needs and feedbacks
• Participate in the development and maintenance of e-training materials for clinical IT systems
• Provide secretarial support for all projects and meetings involving Medical Informatics group, including coordinating members, booking venues, writing minutes

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline
• Experience in Clinical Information System, IT project management and exeperience in healthcare environment would be an added advantage
• Comfortable to work with various stakeholders
• Able to work well independantly
• Possess good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is functioning satisfactorily and safely. Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
   
2. Electrical Systems: Maintain and repair all electrical systems in the hotel.
   
3. Air-Conditioning/Ventilation: Inspect and maintain all air-conditioning and ventilation equipment.
   
4. Plumbing/Sanitary Systems: Inspect and maintain the plumbing and sanitary systems to ensure proper functionality.
   
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to address maintenance issues promptly.
   
6. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager to contribute to the overall efficiency of the maintenance department.

Requirements:

1. Nationality: Only Singaporeans / PRs / relevant work pass holders are eligible for this position.
   
2. Educational Qualification: Must possess at least NTC 3, NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate or relevant Qualification in Facilities Management.
   
3. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity in the Hospitality industry.
   
4. Work Hours: Must be able to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.

What you'll do:

• Conduct and coordinate clinical or epidemiologic studies in line with the department's research strategy and under the direction and supervision of the Principal Investigators and Collaborators, this may include examination of human subjects.
• Manage these research projects in a team-based, cross functional research environment, which include supervising post-doctoral students, research assistants, technical and other support staff.
• Publish research outcomes in appropriate journals of international standing and to publish and disseminate the result of research and scholarship in other reputable outlets.
• Support in grant writing
• Attend and present research findings and papers at academic and professional conferences, and to contribute to the external visibility of the department.
• Draft research reports for Principal Investigators.
• Undertake such specific roles and management functions as may be reasonably required by the Principal Investigators/Directors.
• Attend meetings and to participate in other committees and working groups within SERI/SNEC (where necessary).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety in all aspects of work.

• PhD in biological sciences or related discipline
• Knowledge in ophthalmological conditions and diseases is advantageous

Responsibilites

• Administer full spectrum of payroll administration for 80 employees.
• Handle queries in regards to payroll and Human Resource matters.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll reports.
• Process reservists’ make up pay claims
• Answer to all regular and ad hoc surveys eg, MOM surveys.
• Point of contact in relevant to local employment act, immigration act and HR related government act.
• Handle full spectrum of daily Human Resource administration.
• To administer leave and medical leave records.
• General HR and Administration duties as well as office support.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Business Admin or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing and knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with payroll software

The Research Officer will oversee the progress of the research study under the supervision of the Principal investigator. They will perform a variety of research activities which include planning and execution of experiments for functional validation, leading up to a scientific publication.

Main Duties:

1. Tissue Logistics

• Tracking of biological samples received in the lab pertaining to the study
• Collection of patient samples (FFPE, Tissue, WBC,DNA or RNA) from Pathology
• DNA/RNA extraction from frozen tissue or FFPE
• Submission of DNA/RNA samples to external sequencing partner

2. Cell culture

• Generation of cell line and/or organoids from tissue collected from the study
• Maintenance of these cell lines and/or organoids in culture

3. Perform tasks and support all aspects of the research project

• Performing literature reviews when required
• Plan and execute experiments for functional validation
• Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental result and research findings
• Evaluate and interpret collected data and prepare oral presentations/scientific manuscripts/ literature for publication

4.Perform other related duties

• Laboratory upkeep and maintenance

• Bachelor’s/Master of Science degree in related technical discipline (biology, cell biology, biomedical science, biochemistry or molecular biology)
• Experience working in a clinical or academic environment
• Strong technical/wet lab skills
