Principal Investigator: Associate Professor Catherine ONG, Department of Medicine

The Infectious Diseases Research Laboratory at the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine is looking for highly motivated and well-qualified candidates for the post of Research Fellow to work on Murine models of Tuberculosis. The lab works on translational research i.e. spanning cellular, murine and human TB research. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Fellow will design and execute experiments in M. tuberculosis infection of mice, processing of samples, and associated readouts including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology including immunofluorescence. State-of-the art techniques include spatial transcriptomics and bioinformatics can be learnt and applied. Spatial transcriptomic work is also expected from human tissues. Requirments:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Job Description:

• Review and redesign organizational hierarchy, considering interdepartmental relationships and internal workflows
• Analyse and update job descriptions for office staff to ensure alignment between procedures and actual practices
• Propose, develop, and implement comprehensive office policies, including (but not limited to: Work from Home Policy, Loan Policies, Leave Policies, Travel Allowance, Phone Benefits / Usage Policies
• Develop metrics to evaluate staff performance
• Create and implement a performance-to-rewards system to identify and recognise high-performing staff
• Address employee grievances promptly and professionally
• Facilitate conflict resolution to maintain a harmonious workplace
• Assess training needs across departments
• Coordinate and implement development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
• Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to senior management, including: Turnover rates, Employee satisfaction levels, Compliance issues

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue PO, keep track of procurement activities
• Monitor stock inventories, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory and perform monthly stock take
• Liaise with manufacturing team to ensure plant requirements are met efficiently and production runs smoothly
• Liaise with suppliers with deliveries and maintain records of purchases
• Coordinate with forwarder for permit / shipment clearance documents
• Liaise with sales team for new requirements of materials and to source as and when required

Key Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin speaking suppliers

Job Scope & Responbilities :

* Handle for full set of account

* Financial month end closing

* Coordinate and liaise with external parties like auditors, tax agents and tax authorities

* Responsible for all duties related to Human Resources,

* Monthly payroll preparation, CPF submission

* Responsible of IRAS AIS,IR8A, Corporate tax, Income tax etc.

* MOM WPOL/EPOL/ matter

* Handling other admin duties

Job Requirements :

* Candidate must possess at least diploma or equivalent.

* Language: Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin (read, write and speak) as the incumbent needs to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates in the course of work.

* At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Supervising and coordinating account staff and cashiers, assigning duties, and preparing work schedules
