The Research Scientist will lead a team of researchers to design, develop and validate immuno-assays on a novel diagnostic platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project goals are met in a timely manner and to communicate the results to relevant stakeholders.

Summary:
As the Cargo Flow Officer, you will manage the north bound transhippment connection and your assigned south bound service to work towards achieving the objective of ensuring optimization of full containers and maximizing the ships with empty evacuation.

To perform well in this role, you should be someone who works well under pressure to meet multiple timelines, as well as have a logical mind to solve problem and make decision amidst ad-hoc incidents.

Main Responsibilities:

Cargo Flow for South-Bound Service (65%)

• Perform vessel planning for ANL South-Bound Vessel
• Prepare Daily Booking Report
• Liaise and challenge origins to ensure forecast are provided as accurate as possible
• Raise any abnormality between forecast and fresh bookings to trade managers immediately
• Identify and challenge potential issue when forecast versus fresh bookings variance is more than 120% or whatever the percentage threshold is customized for the trade
• Cargo planning when ANL vessels approach transshipment hub or direct port calls
• Evaluate and analyze the ports and vessels operations performance
• Liaise with transshipment team to plan for final load list for approaching vessel
• Minimize Operational Cost (change of vessel, shut out and storage cost) through vessel planning
• Finalize vessel within 24hr KPI after she leaves the direct or Transshipment port

North-bound connection support (35%)

• Generate reports to be used as basis for container transhipment planning, identifying long idling at terminal and investigate reasons for delay and to check if evacuation plan is in place as well as planning the connection of incoming transshipment containers
• Ensure to plan containers connectivity to final destination
• Based on first carrier arrival – identify feasible and earliest vessel connection to respective final destination
• Prioritize connection planning on in-house vessel. Otherwise – source for other alternative vessels from 3rd party if no vessel or space option from in house vessel
• Send instruction to transshipment team to nominate the containers on target vessel and to update journey leg (JL) accordingly
• Random check if containers are nominated in terminal and JL was properly updated
• Monitor vessels connectivity and make changes if any misconnection

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma Holder from recognized institutions, preferably in shipping or logistics with at least 1 year of working experience in transportation or logistics industry would be preferred
• Good knowledge of the maritime industry
• Proficient in MS Excel (Vlookup / Pivot Table) would be highly preferred

The Signature Research Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. The key outcome of the research will be the early identification of new pathogens, out of which new diagnostic tests, treatments and control strategies will be developed.

This position is for a full-time Senior Research Fellow position. The Laboratory of Virus Evolution (LoVE) studies rapidly evolving respiratory RNA viruses including influenza, parainfluenza and coronaviruses. Our research helps to understand the molecular drivers of virus evolution and population dynamics, and their influence on virulence and pathogenicity.

The candidate is expected to play a critical role in generating and fostering a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research environment. The candidate should possess a strong background in molecular virology and/or immunology, and will utilize metagenomics sequencing and virologic techniques to understand the evolutionary dynamics of different RNA viruses. The candidate will be involved in developing antiviral antibody therapies in the prevention and treatment of virus disease.

We are looking to hire a highly motivated, experienced, Senior Director to head the National Platform - Multi User Wafer Fab (MUWF).

Competencies

• Experienced in semiconductor, manufacturing fab ramp-up, management of semiconductor production fab

JOB DESCRIPTION

NGTC (National GaN Technology Centre) in IME is looking for a talent to join its Technology Team for R&D developments. The qualified candidate has opportunities to participate in technical tasks related to RF GaN foundry for the applications from microwave up to THz. This includes the following area:

• Develop and maintain models in foundry PDK.
• Resolve simulation issues caused by model.
• Support on-wafer RF & Load Pull characterization of devices and data analysis.
• Validate model and Support model deployments in PDK and simulation tools.
• Contribute or support MMIC demo. circuits design for foundry promotion.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• PhD degree in EE with relevant course/research in electrical, semiconductor and microwave engineering.
• At least 3 years hand-on experiences in RF device modeling.
• In-depth knowledges of III-V based FET model (e.g., CFET, EEHEMT, Angelov, ASM, etc.) and parameter extraction methodologies.
• Good understanding of compact and behavioural model for HEMTs, and passive components.
• Solid mathematic skillsets in data/curve fitting, and convergence analysis in time/frequency domain RFIC/MMIC simulations.
• Hand-on experiences in Maury/Focus load pull hardware and software for on-wafer measurement is plus.
• Good understanding on calibration and de-embedding procedures
• Practical experiences in MMIC design and testing.
