Objectives of the Role:

• Maintain and manage a comprehensive database of wildlife conflict cases and use of glue traps, ensuring that accurate information is available for analysis and reporting.
• Investigate assigned cases on crimes against animals through site visits, observations and interviews in line with the organisation’s SOP.
• Document all visuals and investigation reports.
• You will be reporting to the senior investigations officer.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to emails and inquiries from the public, providing necessary advisories to minimise human-wildlife conflicts.
• Maintain and update a database of wildlife conflict and glue trap cases received via email or rescue call logs, ensuring data accuracy and availability for analysis.
• Commute to sites for case investigations, conduct interviews, document information for assessment and outcome report.
• Clearly communicate outcomes to the stakeholders through a written report.
• Stay informed about animal protection issues in Singapore and continuously update knowledge on coexistence measures and wildlife management strategies.

Requirements:

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore is looking for researchers and engineers to develop next generation quantum computers based on trapped ions. There are multiple positions available at different levels with a diverse set of expertise. This program is funded under the National Quantum Processor Initiative, a flagship program under the National Quantum Office Singapore. The aim of the program is to develop a full stack quantum processor based on Yb-Ba ions. Optimizing the performance of health systems is essential to ensuring the wellbeing and longevity of populations worldwide. Singapore is particularly well placed to lead research in this field as its health system has been consistently ranked as one of the best in the world based in independent evaluation with the Global Burden of Disease data. The new Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) aims to advance research in this area within the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS) as the leading centre for research in health systems in Asia with the following core functions:

1. Research: empirical and methodological research and evidence synthesis on health systems performance with a particular focus on Value Based Healthcare.
2. Health policy intelligence: health policy impact analysis aimed at policy makers, service providers, researchers, and the wider public.
