Responsibilities:

• You will be exposed to different social research domains and streams of research methodologies
• Manage client-focused research projects, conduct analysis, and present insights in a visual and impactful manner. At the same time, you will be involved in scripting, sampling, and data processing of research studies.
• Assist in developing new methods of data collection using various software and other data related tools assigned to you at intervals.
• Account Management: Manage client queries, expectations and relationships to ensure client satisfaction
• Design, plan, execute, and manage research projects suitable for client needs
• Scripting of survey questionnaires with logic implementation
• Processing of research data using software with syntaxes and codes
• Monitor quantitative fieldwork and adhering to project schedules / deadlines
• Quality check and audit survey implementation to ensure accuracy of results
• Perform coding of open-ended (free text response) answers where required
• Create highly actionable and digestible reports in PowerPoint
• Present results of study confidently to external clients
• Drive the exploration of new research methodologies and data collection software

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (in Psychology / Social Sciences / Mathematics / Statistics / Business / Engineering / numerical fields)
• Strong interest in market research and willing to learn
• Versatile individual with a keen interest to pick up complimentary research skillsets
• Able to work with ambiguity and perform under pressure
• Strong quantitative and data analytical skills required
• Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal
• Competent in MS Office, with some experience in data collection and/or statistical software e.g. SPSS (must), R, STATA etc. will be plus

This job position is required for recruiting a highly educated and experienced researcher with experience to develop battery management system for lithium-ion battery packs in energy storage system application. It will also fulfil the objective of NTU in developing energy storage system and novel renewable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop overall battery management scheme according to system performance requirement
• Design and develop software of battery management system
• Design and develop hardware and PCB layout of battery management system
• Design and develop state estimation algorithm of battery management system
• Design and develop balancing control strategy of battery management system
• Conduct simulation test and debug of developed software of battery management system
• Conduct simulation test, layout design, PCB design, manufacturing, and testing
• Conduct simulation test of the designed algorithm, balancing strategy.
• Responsible to prepare design progress document and final project report

Job Requirements:

• Masters degree in electronics, control, electrical, or similar
• Research or working background in lithium-ion battery product development and production is a must.
• Experience in technology development for lithium-ion battery management system is required.
• Candidate must be familiar with design requirements on control, state estimation, balancing of battery packs
• Familiar with software like Matlab/Simulink, Keil, CodeWarrior, Altium Designer.

• Lead the research and development of algorithms for speech recognition, diarization and speech enhancement.

• PhD in computer science/engineering or related fields.
