He/she will work closely with the Office and the teaching staff to conceptualize new research projects as well as work on current projects/data for promoting and measuring interdisciplinary and collaborative learning amongst students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design research approaches to measure interdisciplinary and collaborative learning and its impact on students
• Collect, analyse, report and/or present ICC-related data for the office or university (eg pre and post course surveys, student feedback on teaching, student experience survey, etc.) for monitoring, insights and decision making purposes as well as to address clarifications from different stakeholders
• Propose improvements to existing research/survey designs, materials and reports
• Propose new research/surveys to promote interdisciplinary and collaborative learning
• Lead and conduct data collection activities related to research projects
• Take charge of research project budgeting and expenditure
• Design small-scale survey using graphical-user interfaced software (e.g. Qualtrics, Google forms) including Microsoft Office suite
• Present research findings, implications and suggestions, and follow up on required actions and plans with various stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Masters degree (with some publications) in educational research, the learning sciences or science of learning or cognitive science, or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experiences in doing educational research
• Knowledge and experience in social science research methodologies, able to manage and organize participants for research studies and experiments
• Good written and oral communication skills

The Scope

You will be part of Esco Aster’s Genetically Modified Cell Therapy (GMC) team and contribute to the company’s CDMO mission and objectives. You will carry out process development and analytical development activities in support of drug substance and product manufacturing and testing. Your work will require close collaboration with the process development scientists and manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

· Participate in multiple projects in the area of cell and gene therapy for process development and analytical development from small to large scale.

· Perform lab work based on the project schedule and assigned tasks from supervisors in a time efficient manner.

· Perform hands-on daily laboratory work including but not limited to primary cell culture (stem cells, immune cells, tumour cells etc.), cell-based assays (cell imaging, flow cytometry assays, killing assays etc.) and other molecular assays (ELISA, metabolite analysis etc.)

· Carry out experiment data collection, record and analysis for projects per request.

· Be involved and contribute to creation of protocols and technical reports.

· Assist in lab duties and administrative work including procurement, record keeping, maintenance of lab equipment etc.

· Exercise scientific creativity and independent thought in research & process development.

· Perform tasks in accordance with applicable regulations and site safety requirements.

Requirements

· Degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines.

This position will be responsible for providing quality repair and carrying out preventive maintenance service of etch / clean / deposition equipment at customer sites. Other activities include installation, relocation of customer equipment, performing associated start-up and check-out activities.

• Install and/or relocate equipment at customers’ sites. Conduct associated start-up, cut over and check-out activities on the newly installed systems
• Provide warranty tool support or paid service for out-of-warranty tool by performing on-site general preventive maintenance of equipment and attending to equipment abnormalities. Co-ordinate all service actions with customer to minimize downtime or system interruptions

As a CRA, you will be responsible for independently managing all aspects of global clinical research.
