Lead – Insights & Strategy Researchers at Quantum, work to answer the most challenging & strategic client questions
They reveal the human behind the product or brand by conducting primary research, exploring behaviours and motivations, and applying a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach that marries rigour of thick data analysis with strategic frame-working. They inspire clients by delivering deeper empathy for the user and bring alive the user’s experience through insights, case studies and storytelling.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you’ll work closely to build and drive a portfolio of projects for clients across sectors such CPG, Tech, F&B, Finance etc. This would involve but not be limited to covering consumer insights, cultural understanding, semiotics, trends, brand purpose and so on.

· Have previous experience in qualitative insight and analysis in a reputed firm (Preferably 5-6 years minimum)
· Have a curiosity for knowledge regarding people, behaviour, brands and business
· Get excited to discover new patterns, shifts & formations in people’s behaviour and how they make choices
· Are resourceful in seeking out information and thrive on solving big problems
· Are proactive and entrepreneurial
· Exhibit strategic thinking during all stages of a project
· Are able to lead client conversations confidently– leading proposal presentations, project scoping, project documentation and leading sensemaking & reporting
· Seek constant learning opportunities to be trained in aspects of qualitative/ ethnographic techniques, innovation funnels and value proposition frameworks
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS ROLE…
· You will independently manage and oversee projects end-to-end, with key client-facing responsibilities (projects can range from 3-4 weeks to 3-4 months)
· You will oversee user-research fieldwork such as ethnographic immersions, diary analysis, consumer interviews across SEA and China.
· You will sense-make from a wide stream of data to uncover insights, JTBDs and opportunity spaces
· You will work with Hive leaders to grow existing business relationships and acquire new clients that are in the CPG, F&B sector
· You inspire clients through translating insights into actionable presentations that also look great.
· On “thinking days”, you will exhibit cutting edge analysis when writing debriefs and contributing to final outputs across several media (PowerPoint, Workshop Decks etc.)
· On “high energy days”, you will co-Lead workshops that resolve tensions around brand, business, service, product and planet related challenges
· As you grow, you will mentor the development of associates, and play a pivotal role in shaping a happy and motivated team
· And, when the day is done, you can kick up your feet and bond with your team mates over shots and word games!
EDUCATION BACKGROUND & REQUIREMENTS
· It would be great if you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a liberal arts, social sciences, psychology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, design management, with a strong inclination to understand culture & brands
· However, we are not hung up on this. Some of our most brilliant colleagues have backgrounds in chemistry, engineering, journalism and even the history of art. So if you don’t have an educational background that matches the above, but making sense of people, culture, brands and business excites you…write in!
· Have the ability to express exceptionally well, verbally and in writing, in English
· Fluency in Mandarin is a must as some of the work is China-based
· Are a Singaporean / PR and based in Singapore
· This is a full time hybrid position
