1. Co-ordinate and implement all Workplace Safety and Health / Environmental.
2. Conduct Workplace Safety and Health / Environment Control audit and incident investigations.
3. Liaise closely with site operations staff and project manager on all safety and health issues.
4. Assist in accident reporting and investigations as well as attend tool-box meetings.
5. Maintain and improve to the best Workplace Safety and Health / Environmental Control standard in the site.
6. Produce Site Workplace Safety and Health / Environment Control Report on a regular basis.
7. Promote Workplace Safety and Health / Environment Control at the site and conduct regular training.
8. Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health / Environment Control regulations and statutory requirements.
9. Perform the statutory roles of Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (RSO) / Registered Environment.
10. Co-ordinate Workplace Safety and Health / Environment Control Committee Meeting.
11. Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities.
12. Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations.
*Requirements*
1. Must be a MOM Registered WSH Officer.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety Health and Environment areas and familiar with construction works / technicalities.
3. Good knowledge of Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety Health and Environment areas and familiar with construction works / technicalities.
4. Familiar with OSH / ISO documention.
5. Degree or Diploma in Environment Health and Safety or other relevant subjects.
6. Possess good communication skills.
7. At least 2 years registration with MOM and must be familiarise with civil work.
