Job Responsibilities
1) Mosque Annual Action Plan
- Assist in planning, budgeting, and reviewing Youth Development, Engagement, Outreach and Volunteer/Donor programs.
- Report progress to the Board and coordinate community outreach initiatives, including partnerships for the Community Pantry (CP)
2) Youth Engagement & Development
- Organise and supervise youth activities, maintain communication with youth and parents, develop programs and build partnerships with external agencies (MCYS, HPB, Schools)
- Plan and conduct youth engagement (online and offline), manage social media platforms, and organise regular programs (eg: usrah, forums, short courses)
3) Volunteers/Donor Management
- Develop a volunteer and donor management system, organise recruitment drive and engage mosque volunteers and donors
4) Community Engagement & Events
- Assist with mosque events, empower volunteers, and support district-wide initiatives and meetings
5) Community Pantry
- Raise funds, conduct awareness campaigns, manage the CP budget, and oversee CP staff and operations
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma holder (in Islamic related is an added advantage)
- Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS) will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player and able to outreach/collaborate with relevant organisations
- Flair for marketing especially in social media
- Able to work during weeknights, weekends and Public Holidays when required
