Job Responsibilities

• Provide essential enterprise level network services to agencies.
• Execute new initiatives and enhancements that result in innovative use of network technologies to meet the needs of forward-looking agencies.
• Work with team leaders and outsourced service providers to plan, manage and deliver projects to upkeep, strengthen or create new network services to enhance service satisfaction and delivery.
• Work with our Central ICT Infra capability centres to design and best fit Network solutions considering Public Service agencies existing and future infrastructure needs.
• Execute projects to deliver network services that achieve standardisation of network services across agencies to reduce operations overheads and greater satisfaction of network services.

Technical Capabilities Required

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in designing, deploying and managing enterprise level ICT infrastructure for network services e.g. LAN/WAN / Firewall / Routers and Switches etc.
• Good technical knowledge of network technologies as primary practice area, with knowledge in supporting technologies such as infrastructure security
• Proactive and dedicated individual with good leadership and multi-tasking capabilities
• Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare submissions and clear authorities’ requirements which will include drawings, design calculations and report writing and other relevant material to meet the submission requirements
• Responsible for timely submission of reports and completion of projects for tender/submission with target dates
• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Attend meetings during course of construction of projects
• Monitor the progress of civil works and ensure that jobs are completed on schedule
• Responsible for all the site implementation and completion towards management target, client’s expectation and compliance to authorities’ regulations
• Work under the advice of the Safety Officer to adhere to compliance & safety requirements with regulatory and industry standards during the construction phase
• Candidate to be able to work shift works due to the demands of the project
• Responsible for on-site technical / engineering / administrative matters

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant
• Minimum 3-6 years’ engineering experience
• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
• Willing to work at construction sites
• Ability to communicate and work with client, consultant and subcontractor
• Able to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively with others
• Class 3 driving license
• Familiar with construction field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Autocad
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to think strategically
• Outstanding Problem-solving skills
• Strong, dynamic working style

Main Responsibilities

• Study, evaluate, understand and provide feedback on functional specifications
• Develop solutions following defined standards and high quality
• Provide detailed estimation for development of solutions
• Implement solutions using TDD
• Implement BDD for the features
• Perform non-functional testing
• Perform design and code review for other team members
• Prepare documentation for design and implementation
• Enable and support functional and user acceptance testing
• Support applications in production - analyze and resolve issues as they arise
• Work with various technical/functional teams to ensure proper delivery
• Maintain lessons learnt, release post mortem outcomes and convert them into best practices
• Automation approach or suggest automation as and when applicable
• Be in the forefront of communications and having good relationship with any stakeholder involved

Qualifications and Profile

• Minimum 8 years in Java/J2EE development is required.
• Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance tuning
• Java/J2EE, Spring,AngularJS, Spring MVC/Struts, Multi-threading, Restful web services , Swagger, JMS/WebSphere MQ, Java script, JQuery, XML, XSLT, Xpath, XSD
• Docker/Kubernete, Kafka, Spark, Mongo DB
• A strong understanding of recent Java language features, such as lambdas, streams, and futures
• Relational databases – MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Source management – SVN/GIT, TDD using Junit, DBUnit, Jira/QC.
• Application server – Jboss/WildFly/ Websphere
• Well experienced and having good understanding on SQL language,
• Well experienced and having good understanding on Unix/Linux Shell Scripting,
• Having experience with JIRA, Confluence, Maven, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube and other deployment tools.
• Having exposure to DevOps and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge on implementing solutions on the Cloud, preferably AWS.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Business intelligence tools
• Experience in working with application monitoring and automation
• Experience in Banking environment, especially in Capital Market IT
