6 PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

6.1 The Contractor’s support personnel managing the servers must be trained and minimally be proficient in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network architectures for LAN/WAN/Wireless
• Configure and deploy routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Implement switching protocols (STP, MSTP, VLANs).
• Design and implement network security measures (firewalls, ACLs, VPNs).
• Support, Configure, Maintain and Upgrade corporate customer’s network devices
• Ensure network security and connectivity
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency)

• Create and maintain technical documentation (network diagrams, configurations).
• Assist in network design and implementation.

Experience:

• 8 - 10 years of experience in supporting, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading corporate customer’s network devices.
• CCNP certified (Routing and Switching).
• Good understanding and hands-on experience of networking protocols like routing and switching and Wireless (Physical experience in data centres for all Network devices/equipment).
• Experience in Firewall configuration and network security policy implementation. Hands-on experience on FortiGate/Cisco/Palo Alto/Aruba/ Huawei is desirable.
• Experience in debugging and fixing technical problems in network by coordinating with vendors, data centre and onsite support teams whenever required.
• Have experience in creating network documents and flow diagrams.
• Hands-on remote access and site to site VPN.
• Experience in monitoring tools like solar wind, NMS, Wireshark, MRTG Cacti etc.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Load Balancer will be added advantage.

1. Assist project manager with day to day on-site monitoring, project implementation and scheduling.

2. To schedule, co-ordinate, implement and manage projects- in part or wholly- to ensure timely work progress, goods or services delivery on schedule, while taking into account the budgeted qualities and cost.

3.Ensuring that work is carried out according to approved plans, regulations and contract specifications.

• Overseeing the preparation, scheduling, coordination, and supervision of assigned engineering projects.
• Ensuring compliance with project requirements, reviewing drawings for accuracy, and addressing technical inquiries.
• Engaging with clients to understand and interpret their needs (including site surveys and data gathering).
• Participating in project meetings and implementing follow-up actions.
• Developing detailed work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource planning.
• Reviewing engineering deliverables and initiating corrective measures as needed.
• Managing project changes, identifying potential crises, and creating contingency plans.
• Conducting quality control assessments and overseeing project handover.
• Providing regular project status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitating coordination among various parties—clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, design, sales, production, warehouse, site leader and purchasing teams—to ensure a seamless project handover.
• Reviewing engineering drawings and collaborating with the design team to resolve any discrepancies.
• Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction (civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, or electrical work) would be an advantage.
• Degree in engineering, architecture, or building science.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and skilled in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
