As A Lead Software Engineer, You Will Have To:

• Design and build our HRM product's technical foundation from ground up

Reporting to Chief Information Officer, the candidate will be supporting Information Technology (“IT”) network and security function under IT Department (Infrastructure Support).

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing network solutions in a hybrid-cloud environment and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Arranging scheduled upgrades, investigating issues, and incident handling with the customer side
• Installing, configuring, monitoring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP, etc., to support application requirements as well as maximizing network efficiency and security
• Reviews and develops IT security frameworks, policies, processes, and procedures
• Responsible for monitoring security operations and performing security assessments in IT network components
• Pro-active engagement and execution of IT infrastructure security projects to prevent cyber-security incidents and conduct security incident root cause analysis
• Develop education materials and conduct Masterclass training to increase IT security awareness across the organization
• Providing network support for production, office, and end-user environments
• Performing trading/clearing member connectivity tests and circuit migrations
• Provide support and technical expertise for Cloud related issues and projects

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on network engineer experience;
• Knowledge of Hybrid and Cloud Networking, with some experience with large-scale infrastructure private and public cloud design, build, operation, and migration projects;
• Network certificates of mainstream cloud platforms are highly preferred;
• CCNP certified and Systems administration experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of VPN configuration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of data center installation and cabling standards
• Strong communicator with oral, written, and presentation abilities in English
• Some proficiency in Mandarin advantageous to liaise with Chinese counterparties

About the Role:

• Provide leadership to the Chiller Systems maintenance team members in providing chiller maintenance, repair and annual shutdowns.
• Manage the team to achieve set targets.
• Keep updated in the latest development in chiller technology and offer advice to the team, practical technical information.
• Recommend, quote and advise internal & external customers on technical & cost matters pertaining to chiller maintenance, repair and annual shutdowns.
• Increase revenue for ACMV mobile team according to company’s plan and direction.
• Sourcing of contractor & supplier.
• Provide technical advice relating to chillers, ACMV systems to site managers when necessary.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned whenever required

About You:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• Proven experience in chiller system maintenance, repair, and operations.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop series of marking/inspection/ sorting/customised semiconductor equipment to meet the processing and automation needs of customers. Main duties involve

About the role

This position will be responsible for working with large and disparate data sets, internal and external, quantitative, and qualitative, structured and unstructured to support the management of data across the entire data lifecycle. The data engineer brings expert understanding of data and modern data processing technologies to prepare and deliver data assets which support high priority projects.

This position is a part of theData Product Team, which is responsible to delivering on the prioritised T&S Data roadmap to meet strategic objectives. aligned to the Trading & Shipping organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Working with the key stakeholders to define data requirements for projects

• Perform data acquisition/ingestion from internal and external sources, including both structured and unstructured data sources (incl. multi-dimension data, text/documents, geospatial data and graph)

• Performing descriptive analytics and data visualisation to share data insights or validate data with stakeholders. Prepare data quality reports

• Develop data transformations and modelling to prepare data sets for consumption for various end uses including reporting or advanced analytics.

• Data Modelling and Design- With requirements from business, design and implement data models within Snowflake, including schema design, table structures and data partitioning to support high performance, low latency querying and analytics.

• Data Quality and Integrity- Enforce data quality checks and validation during data ingestion process to ensure accuracy and integrity of data in Snowflake.

• Support Continuous Improvement in Data Product- Support the Commercial Analytics in advancing continuous improvement in the data space, including team engagement to generate awareness of initiatives and track progress.

Capabilities

• Big Data Engineering – familiarity in designing and developing data processes on cloud based big data platforms

• Strong understanding of data structures and designing conceptual, logical and physical data models

Qualifications & experience

• 2+ years of industry experience working as a data engineer to develop data products using SQL, Python, and Spark

• Data modelling experience including ETL

• Data quality management

• Experience with a range of Data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, SQL Databases)

• Experience performing descriptive analytics and developing data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau, Shiny, etc)

• Experience working to support advanced analytics products is desirable

Skills & Knowledge

• Expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark

• Experience with Snowflake (3–7 years) and data pipeline management

• Proficiency in data modeling, relational databases, and query optimization

• Strong understanding of git flow and version control systems

• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles

• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics or related field

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver valuable data insights

• Experience in downstream oil or petroleum trading (desirable)
