The primary focus of the IT Systems Engineer role is to leverage extensive expertise in network administration and systems support to provide expert technical guidance and assistance in resolving complex IT issues. This role requires close collaboration with other IT team members to ensure IT systems effectively support the organization's business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Network management

- Responsible for company IT infrastructure network management, including the design, implementation and maintenance of computers networks with network hardware such as routers, switches, access points, and network circuits.

- Utilise network technology such as HP Aruba, ClearPass, Cisco switching and routing, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall.

- Provide network administration support to ensure IT network operates optimally.

- Keep network diagrams and topology up to date.

- Maintain accurate company network documentation, such as IP Address management (IPAM), configuration changes and adhering to the network lifecycle management records.

• Network troubleshooting and monitoring

- Quickly identity and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Network Configuration and lifecycle management

- Configuring and deployment of network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) including tightening up security.

• System and Network security support

- Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures (Server, Network, backup).

- Assist in providing systems administration support on server management, WINTEL and Hyperconverged infrastructure platform, Dell Vxrail, VMware, HyperV.

- Be responsible for system backup and recovery management.

Job Description:

• Overall responsible for all aspects of the project implementation lifecycle. Plan, coordinate, and execute IoT deployments to help digitalize the built environment, including the site assessments, installation and configuration of devices and sensors to monitor and optimize energy consumption. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, data analysts, and facility managers, to design and implement effective monitoring and control solutions.
