• Drive changes and new ways of E2E Value Chain thinking, introducing and leveraging best practices, learning models and process excellence principles, all in the pursuit of core planning and end-to-end supply chain excellence
• Develop and optimize to ensure that appropriate planning processes and systems are in place to execute the planning operations
• Improve overall supply network agility to increase our ability to respond to Customer needs in local markets. Ensures initiation of corrective actions with the functional organizations when performance varies to target

Role reports to: Global Deliver Digital Deployment Director

What you will do

The Global Trade Compliance Digital Solutions Deployment Manager is responsible for managing the deployment of digital applications and analytics solutions for global trade compliance. You will also be responsible for ensuring Kenvue Global's digital products and services comply with all relevant trade control laws and regulations in our global markets. The role will focus on the data, systems and analytics side of Trade Compliance and will have a leading role in Kenvue GTC digitalization, automation, and analytics efforts. You will work closely with Global Trade Compliance, Regional Trade Operations, Technology & Data and Digital Transformation Office to ensure successful implementation of the digital and analytics solutions:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of digital applications and analytics solutions for Global Trade Compliance digital roadmap in conjunction with Digital Transformation Office, Technology & Data, and Operations.
• Work with regional and global partners to diagnose and close process gaps to ensure successful adoption of the Global Trade Compliance digital applications and analytics solutions globally.
• Work with relevant external partners to research and recommend suitable emerging trade compliance technologies and tools to improve GTOM program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Be a key player to shape global digital strategy and functional requirements behind trade digital and system implementations. Be able to cascade Kenvue’s global digital strategy to global markets.
• Support analytics development strategy with close connection to GTOM metrics sitting within DTO CDD capability.
• Provide subject matter expertise, training, and guidance to cross-functional teams (e.g. sales, product, operations) on digital trade compliance products.
• Be the Trade Automation Business Subject Matter Expert. Lead the enhancement of trade automation system as part of Kenvue’s multi-enterprise collaboration framework.
• Assess the current state of Kenvue's trade automation system and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
• Design and implement improvements to the trade automation system to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within Kenvue's multi-enterprise collaboration framework

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in global trade compliance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Knowledge of global trade processes, industry practices, and key trade compliance data points
• Knowledge of trade systems, such as Trade Automation and SAP GTS
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Understands project management principles
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
• Have process design experience, especially value stream mapping
• Understands inbound logistics landscape globally
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and other supply chain technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations

Position Overview:

The Operations & Commercial Effectiveness Senior Manager will report directly to the General Manager of Asia Pacific to execute sales strategies that deliver results aligned with the commercial plan and manage operations and channel management. Collaborate effectively with functions such as sales, marketing, finance, commercial operations, IT and HR to anticipate challenges and remove obstacles to enable commercial impact.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual strategic planning to analyze sales regions and territories
• Work with APAC Leadership Team to liaison between commercial operations, sales, marketing, comm ops, finance and all other internal functions impacting the commercial team in driving and fulfilling the following responsibilities:
  • Help identify and deliver on the needs of the commercial organization to successfully drive initiatives
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with APAC GM with Commercial Leaders and Distributors
  • Manage monthly and quarterly business reviews, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure follow through with key initiatives that impact commercial strategy
• Partner with APAC Commercial Leaders in monitoring and increasing the sales force engagement though recognition, incentives, and surveys
• Assess current distribution & 4PL strategy and execute channel optimization projects in key markets by assessing margins and J&J network to ensure infrastructure supports strategy
• Conduct quarterly distribution reviews with stock and sales analysis and implement good distribution practices
• Ensure distribution/channel contracts and contracts with external parties and vendors are up to date
• Execute key channel/operations projects like the Korea J&J model
• Collaborate with Aachen/US counterparts to implement a long-term APAC supply and operations process
• Provide relevant analytics to the commercial team to guide strategic commercial plan

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required, Masters in related field or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of high-performance experience in the medical device cardiovascular space
• 5+ years of management experience of a field commercial team preferably within Abiomed
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders internal and external
• Demonstrated critical thinking in fast paced environment
• Ability to exercise judgment in selecting, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
