RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and ensure compliance with relevant charter party requirements and company procedures, relevant voyage or time charter operational information between vessels, brokers, charterers and agents

• Monitor and record all details of voyage performance including off-hire, stoppages and delays within the vessel voyage performance report system, including trends / gap analysis

Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven Sales Manager with a deep understanding of the Financial Services Industry to lead business development and customer relationship management in the ASEAN region. This individual will be responsible for driving sales and fostering strategic relationships with large financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies. The Sales Manager will sell innovative Edge Technology and Enterprise Solutions, helping clients navigate their digital transformation while ensuring long-term success and revenue growth.

Job Duties:

• Relationship Building: Establish and cultivate deep, professional relationships with key decision-makers in assigned customer accounts, including C-level executives and senior management.
• Account Planning: Orchestrate the account planning process, developing a clear account strategy, setting financial targets, and identifying critical milestones for 1–3 years.
• Sales Cycle Management: Manage complex sales cycles by leveraging both internal and external resources to ensure successful deal closure.
• Customer Needs Analysis: Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs to ensure the solutions offered are aligned with their business objectives.
• Consultative Selling: Demonstrate consultative sales expertise, articulating clear and concise return on investment (ROI) value propositions to potential clients.
• Revenue Growth: Drive short-term sales results while maintaining a long-term perspective to ensure customer success and sustainable revenue generation.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate quarterly forecasting, tracking sales activities, and ensuring revenue delivery is in line with targets.
• Sales Strategy Alignment: Align sales activity with the organization’s business strategy, ensuring that goals and targets are consistently met or exceeded.
• Sales Operations Management: Plan, direct, and coordinate sales operations, analysing sales data to build effective sales plans and set realistic sales targets.

Key Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Must have at least a bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or Accounting or any related field.
• Professional Experience:Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of work experience in selling business solutions, specifically within major service or software vendors.
• Industry Expertise: Proven sales experience working with large banks or insurance companies in the ASEAN region.
• Build Network: Ability to build strong connections with IT departments within financial institutions.
• Sales Performance:Demonstrated consistency in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Digital Solutions Knowledge:Preferably experienced in selling banking or insurance-related digital solutions to relevant enterprises.
• Key Account Management: Proven track record of managing key accounts effectively, building long-term, strategic partnerships.
• Credibility with Senior Leaders:Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including CxO executives.
• Language Proficiency:Advanced proficiency in English and Japanese, enabling effective communication with Japanese-speaking clients.

• 6 days roster based (retail hour 10am to 10pm)

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

• To lead and manage tender team for all tender and related activities (including turnkey EPC tenders with Civil, Mech, E&I scopes) allocating tasks and follow up to ensure tender is submitted in proper order.
• To review tender documents and other related documents and find out relevant information necessary for tender, and ensure all tender submission document are in order and submitted as requirement
• Material Take-off, and estimate for costing for tender for Mechanical work scope (Piping, tank, equipment, firefighting etc) and other related, including finding out cost and sourcing for supplier/ subcontractor
• Work with other department including BD, engineering, procurement, project, etc on tender estimation and submission, or other necessary works
• To report to or work with Senior Technical Manager and /or BD Manager, and carry out any other works when required
• To support tender activities when required including all related documentation works e.g. prequalification document, tender result follow up/ review/ etc
• To review tender commercial matters and liaise with commercial personnel when required
• To support others (incl. Civil, E&I etc) in tender department for various works that may need when required, including documentation
• To support BD activities as and when required especially in connection with Tender works, including follow up with Client on submitted tenders, calling clients, meetings etc.
• Give support to other department or personnel (e.g. QS, project, engineering, finance department, etc) on matters relating to tender relevant matters, price estimation etc
• Any other tender related works including pricing strategy, pre-tender review, pre-award contract review, handover of awarded project to project team
• Any other works as instructed by Management

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 5 years relevant experience
• Any engineering/ project/ construction knowledge and/or experience will be an added advantage
• Able to interpret drawings.\
• Knowledge of recent prices in relevant EPC / Construction works, and accurate in cost estimation
• Good with Microsoft Office, Autocad viewing and ADOBE
• Any knowledge of MS Project / Primavera will be added an advantage
• Good communication skill.
• Lead and manage team effectively.
• Bilingual. Able to read, write and speak Chinese is an added advantage.
