As a Kitchen Crew, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Management team.

Your role will involve assisting in overseeing the Kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, contributing to menu development, and fostering a culture of teamwork and culinary excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely, consistent, and visually appealing manner
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
• Communicate effectively with the server to ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly
• Comply with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

Working Hours:

In your role as IKEA Restaurant Team Leader, you will support your manager to fulfil the purpose of IKEA Food and the development of the IKEA business.

Your assignment: 

• Support your manager with the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans by contributing to the action plan in the area of your responsibility and implementing them together with your team;
• Secure an irresistible food offer by ensuring attractive presentation and communication of the range;
• Actively learn about the content, origin and benefits of the product range and share this knowledge with your team;
• Ensure that your area is efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience;
• Implement commercial opportunities to grow sales and profitability by using the Commercial Review as a base and other appropriate tools;
• Operate IKEA Food according to IKEA Quality and Food safety requirements and implement the IKEA HACCP plan to meet store requirements.

Japanese Restaurant Manager
Salary: $3400 - $3700
Working Hours: 5 days/week
Location: Islandwide

Responsibilities:

• Oversee general day-to-day management & operational of the restaurant business
• Responsible for outlet sales target and KPIs include overall cost, i.e. food cost and labour cost
• Enhance the leadership and performance excellence of the team members by training and motivating
• Respond to the customer or team members comments and feedback professionally. Report, discuss and consult with Area
• Manager on the comments and feedback
• Responsible and ensure outlet safety, cleanliness, hygiene and keeping in high standards
• Responsible for outlet workforce arrangement, scheduling and reporting shortage or excess of the workforce to Area Manager regularly
• Manage outlet recruitment and training

Requirements:

• At least 5 years related experience in F&B industry
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Possess positive attitude and responsibilities
• Willing to accept the challenges and able to work under pressure
• Customer-service oriented personality

Job Scope

• Greeting and coordinating the guests’ seats and assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.
• Recording and reporting all food-related complaints to the Chef immediately.
• Ensuring team briefings are carried out before each service period.
• Promoting the restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalising customer service.
• Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
• Participating in monthly physical stocktake of the Restaurant, including but not limited to glassware, plate and crockery.
• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in implementing and developing training programs.
• Monitoring inventory levels.
• Preparing daily report when Restaurant Manager is not around.
• Reporting restaurant’s situation daily to Restaurant Manager.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirement

• GCE O Level and above
• 1 – 3 years related experience in F&B Managerial positions
