Responsibilities
- Follow up with all unsafe site condition and rectify all deviations accordingly.
- Co-ordinate with SHE Supervisor on all safe work procedure to potential hazards
- Perform visual inspection of installation, Electrical & instrument hook-up / system.
- Carry out the Electrical & lnstrument work as per construction drawings.
- Carry out punch listing and assist in pre-commissioning checks.
- Perform / witness all acceptance tests such as continuity, insulation, simulation three-point checks etc.
- Assist Electrical & instrument engineer to commission all installed instrument loops and Electrical system
- Troubleshoot if required, and repair/rectify all systems for process and control loops.
- Prepare and filing electrical & instrument report after attending loop check as per format designated by client.
- Apply work permits.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior or higher management.
Requirements
- ITC/ Diploma levels in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10-11 years of relevant experience in process lndustry Work
- Sound fundamentals of ISO Standards, electrical safety and area classification
- Skills and knowledge of an instrument technician
- Strong knowledge of electronics, pneumatic and hydraulics
- Familiar with instrument calibration procedures
- Have analyzer knowledge (optional)
- Computer literate (esp. Microsoft office) (optional)
