A Lifting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all lifting operations on a construction site to ensure they are carried out safely and efficiently. This role involves planning lifts, supervising lifting personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and Coordination:
   Develop and implement lift plans based on project requirements and site conditions.
   Coordinate with project managers, crane operators, and other relevant personnel.
2. Supervision of Lifting Operations:
   Oversee all lifting activities to ensure they are executed safely and efficiently.
   Ensure that all lifting personnel, including riggers and crane operators, are competent and properly instructed.
3. Safety Compliance:
   Conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
   Prepare and enforce strict safety protocols for lifting operations.
4. Training and Development:
   Provide training and guidance to lifting personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
   Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
   Maintain accurate records of all lifting operations, including risk assessments, lift plans, and equipment inspections.
   Report any incidents, accidents, or near-misses related to lifting activities to the relevant authorities.
