We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor with a proven track record in managing electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Power Plant and Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications, and delivering quality work within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Coordination:
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate electrical work activities on-site.
- Lead a team of electricians and technicians to complete installations, maintenance, and repairs.
2. Installation & Maintenance:
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct regular maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
3. Safety &Compliance:
- Ensure all electrical activities comply with Singapore MOM regulations and industry safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety briefings, and toolbox meetings for the electrical team.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Inspect and test completed electrical work to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
5. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve faults or issues in electrical systems and equipment efficiently.
- Collaborate with other supervisors or engineers to address interdisciplinary challenges.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of electrical work, including reports, progress updates, and inspection checklists.
- Provide feedback to project managers and clients on electrical progress and challenges.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and industry codes (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem- solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with energy management systems and electrical testing tools.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within Power Plant or Oil & Gas industries.
- Proven experience with electrical systems, including high-voltage installations and automation systems.
