JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Account Manager will focus on driving business growth by prospecting new customers, managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets. This role is pivotal in expanding the customer base and ensuring customer satisfaction, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless service and support. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation to final sales, ensuring all customer needs are met with urgency and accuracy.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Account Development and Sales Expansion

• Develop new accounts and expand customers base across the APAC region.
• Manage and cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.

2) Sales Strategy and Execution

• Proactively call assigned accounts to solicit new business.
• Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

3) Sales Process Management

• Ensure the entire sales process is executed with urgency and accuracy: RFQ, quote, order processing, and fulfillment.

4) CRM and Documentation

• Accurately document and update prospecting activity and new sales opportunities in our proprietary CRM.

5) Collaboration and Coordination

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

6) Industry Awareness and Opportunity Identification

• Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to identify growth opportunities.

7) Performance Tracking and Reporting

• Drive and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.

JOB REQUIREMENT(S)

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in B2B sales in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Energetic, strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives (10%).

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for implementing the business development strategy for a significant part of the organization.
• Formulate the strategy and identify, evaluate, and structure key transactions to ensure continued financial health and maximum value creation through the entire product life cycle.
• Consult with customer representatives at the top management level to identify the strategic outcomes they are seeking to achieve, coordinating the engagement of users as well as functional and technical specialists within own and customer organizations, to gather and analyze very complex customer data and to develop and agree on a specification of customer requirements.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex global potential accounts to build key relationships at local, national, and corporate levels.
• Coordinate the engagement of own organization with the customer organization to ensure effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
• Lead and create an organization-wide customer orientation and develop the infrastructure for customer relationship building to place the customer at the center of the organization.
• Develop a personal network of senior managers within the business sector and at relevant advisory and regulatory bodies. Represent the organization at major business sector events. Obtain market intelligence, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation.
• Lead a cross-functional internal team (for example, technical, commercial, and legal) to configure a very complex, high-value tailored or bespoke product and services solution and associated contractual terms that meet the customer's strategic goals at an international or global level.
• Present the solution to customer representatives and negotiate agreement with the customer and internal colleagues, to ensure that customer needs are met at an acceptable level of commercial risk.
• Ensure that a global internal function and/or a large, cross-functional, global customer account team and/or a large national organization maintains high-quality customer information; monitor and review information quality to ensure that it is fit for purpose.
• Provide user input to the development or improvement of the customer relationship management system to ensure that it meets immediate and longer-term business needs.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex global existing accounts to build key relationships at local, national, and corporate levels.
• Coordinate the engagement of own organization with the customer organization to ensure effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
• Manage strategic client and customer relationships, typically by deploying large account teams to ensure ongoing customer intimacy and loyalty toward the organization.
• Ensure that business activities within a significant area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies to minimize business risk and protect the reputation of the organization.
• Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the function.
• Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, external regulation, and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
• Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. For example, offers penetrating questions to help others get to the heart of complex situations and find strong solutions. Uses a range of inputs to fully understand and solve problems.

Requirement:

• Master's Degree or Equivalent Level
• Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 years to 15 years )
• Experience of general supervision of more junior colleagues (7 to 12 months)
• Clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies
• Proven ability to resolve workplace challenges and make decisions that benefit both the team and the organization
