Job Purpose
This position is responsible for targeting and hunting for new business with new customers by selling APLL’s capabilities and solutions, with a strong focus on contract logistics, cross-border trucking and international freight.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Generate new business growth by pursuing target profile customers in our focus markets
- Able to build up relationship with customers to identify businessopportunities fitting APLL’s capabilities and competencies
- Develop customer specific value proposition by understanding customers supply chain, identify the pain points and match the best fit solutions
- Ensure timely and accurate reports of target accounts, opportunities and sales calls.
- Responsible to follow the customer qualification and on-boarding protocols, including credit setup and contract coordination for customers
Qualification
- Minimum of a Bachelors, ideally with an MBA or related advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
- Excellent English language skills
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial role with rick knowledge of supply chain logistics and local market practice
- Skill sets
o Prospecting and targeting customer in focused products
o Excellent communication and presentation skills
o Analytical skills
o Understanding of operational process
- Good knowledge in both international and domestic logistics, as well as warehousing for both CLS and CFS
- Established network of customer and business relationships
- Relevant work experience in a supply chain division of an MNC or 3PL
- Be able to work in complex situation and under pressure
- Creative and solution-oriented approach to value proposition
