Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Derivatives Trading Assistant to support the daily operations of our oil trading team. The ideal candidate will assist in trading positions reconciliation, tracking profit and loss (P&L), and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures and market analysis is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

· Running the daily processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the trading position and P&L to Trading team and other key stakeholders

· Work with clearing brokers to ensure that trades are matched and accurately reflected on trade date

· Collaborate closely with traders to investigate and resolve any P&L discrepancies or trade booking issues

· Contribute to market analysis, reports, and presentations

· Assist in analysis of trading performance, P&L attribution, and risk metrics

· Continuous improvement of related processes around trade booking, position and P&L reconciliation processes through enhancements

· Provide administrative support to the trading department

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

· One years’ work experience in oil trading industry or in a similar role

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

· Good drafting and verbal communication skills

· Fluency in both English and Mandarin
