Assistant Cook duties and responsibilities

The primary duty of an Assistant Cook is to assist the Cook in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. Their main duties include

· Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients

· Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas based on company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards

· Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment

· Buying, weighing and storing ingredients and food supplies

· Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens

ASSISTANT MANAGER, PROGRAMMES

As an Assistant Manager, Programmes, you will report to our Manager, Recreation Programmes & Engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Manager in the smooth operations of the Social Department in the following areas:

• Oversee the planning, promotion, execution of the social activities.
• Administration and co-ordination of the social activities.
• Execution of the social activities.
• To ensure the compliance to Club rules regulations and attain KPIs for all social events and activities.
• To evaluate the effectiveness of all social program through participation feedback, attendance and to optimise the resources.
• To forecast the event calendar for all social recreational program and manage the Club’s events microsite.
• To assist monthly reports for Management and Executive Committee.

2. To lead a team of Executives to ensure the followings:

• all activities/events are conducted in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Club.
• All registrations are done properly and confirmation sent.
• Activities are conducted according to the specifications required.

3. To plan and organise mass events for our Members and Public Service Officers.

4. To provide secretariat support for Sub-Committee Meetings (quarterly) and Corporate Services Meetings (rotation basis).

5. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Recreation Programmes & Engagement.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Events/Hospitality with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in an event organizing
• Able to concurrently plan & organise multiple events / activities to meet deadlines and KPIs
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends and public holidays when necessary
• Pleasant personality with good planning, organising and customer service skills
• A team player

Able to prepare & make online Corenet applications to all government technical agencies, on behalf of the QP. Most suitable for previous generation of Architectural Draftsmen from local polytechnic in Singapore, or for those who have worked in Singapore & experienced in similar capacity.

Key Role

- Integrate Architecture, Structure & M&E services plans & resolve technical conflicts;

- Prepare planning applications & other regulatory application via CORENET;

- Produce CAD drawings in the form of finishes, other schedules

- Produce & develop competent detailed plans & construction drawings;

- Attend online meetings;

- Co-ordinating and liaising with project team consultants;

- Conduct regular file updates over the entire project duration

Job Requirements

• Minimum 15 years experience in similar role in Singapore, Malaysia or Philippines, as Senior CAD Draftsmen in our overseas office
• Able to work with a team
• Familiar with Singapore building regulations & submissions
• Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious with excellent communication skills.
