• Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents and lawyers to support audit, tax and other statutory requirements
• Establish collaborative business partnering relationship and lead the team in improving existing policies and processes and transform it through the active adoption of digital tools for better efficiency and costs savings

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience in handling full set of accounts
• Relevant experiences from the Real Estate and/or Healthcare industry will be preferred
• Experience in handling real estate and property leasing accounts are preferred
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to multi-task and manage several companies in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, committed and takes initiative on the job
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish and agree upon a BIM Execution Plan, ensuring on-going compliance and continuous improvement, as well as perform any and other responsibilities or functions as required in the BIM Execution Plan.
• Oversee, coordinate and manage BIM projects.
• Provide internal BIM consultancy for projects.
• Manage processes, implementation, best practices and techniques of BIM and related tools.
• Setup/maintain company BIM Standards, workflows and processes
• Determine the conventions to be followed for reviewing BIM models and associated deliverables.
• Monitor the progress of design to ensure it is according to planned schedule.
• Responsible to participate and support the Company’s SHEQ within their scope of duties.
• Ability to train engineers in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks as well as Bentley software basics.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil, Architectural, Structural or its equivalent with minimum 10 yrs relevant experience
• Well-versed in BIM e-submission process, requirements and guidelines, and LTA, PUB and BCA standards
• Trained in BIM Modeling and BIM Management
• Full understanding and competence in 3D modelling in Bentley and Autodesk Civil and Structural softwares and civil structural design, setting up Seed and Shared parameters, as well as experience in Navisworks, Navigator, BIM 360, Solibri.
• Experience in Bentley ProjectWise is of advantage

Role Purpose

We are seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join our Singapore Insurance office. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing the option to work remotely up to two days a week. You will support the Property underwriting team in managing new and existing business written by Everest International Insurance. This opportunity is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including fresh graduates, and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the Property underwriters in achieving portfolio targets, including assisting with the Japan desk.
• Summarize slip terms and conditions, calculate premiums and exposures, and ensure complete and accurate entry of submissions, quotes, risks, endorsements, and transactions into Everest underwriting systems. Perform necessary data checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with management, statistical, and regulatory reporting standards.
• Store all risk information and correspondence in the document repository to maintain a complete and accurate audit trail of business activity.
• Ensure all relevant underwriting information is included for peer reviews, risk entries, and data checks within designated timeframes. Index and update electronically submitted underwriting information as appropriate.
• Manage processing, catastrophe modeling, and management reporting to a high standard.
• Maintain tools containing key underwriting information to facilitate compliance with sanctions, fraud prevention, and financial crime checks before and after binding coverage.
• Assist underwriters with the underwriting process, production of management information, business development, and marketing initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to underwriters and the Operations team, including handling credit control queries, data quality checks, and process improvements.
• Provide support to underwriting teams in other lines of business as needed.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks as defined and agreed upon with the Head of Property.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Professionalism in interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with underwriting and facultative insurance and reinsurance processes.
• Knowledge of Property underwriting is preferred but not required; open to fresh graduates eager to gain experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, with preference for candidates with backgrounds in actuarial science, accountancy, or engineering.

• Coordinate and hands on in the events and meetings set-up, in accordance to clients'requirements
• Manage pre- event preparation and provide on-the-day support as required by clients
• Co-ordinate with clients, F&B and logistics suppliers pre / during / post for the events
• Manage quotations and administrative work related to the events.
