Role Overview:
As a member of Smartkarma’s Business Development team, you will be instrumental in expanding Smartkarma’s client base by promoting our platform and subscription products. You will work closely with the Business Development team to identify and engage potential clients, nurture relationships, and support our growth in the market. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are commercially savvy, eager to grow, and thrive in a fast-paced environment facing some of the world’s biggest financial institutions and corporate decision makers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales of Smartkarma’s Platform, Premium, and Data Subscription businesses to new and existing clients.
- Identify and engage new prospects through targeted outreach, networking, and market research.
- Collaborate with the wider Business Development, research, data-strategy and marketing teams to craft effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Present Smartkarma’s offerings to potential clients, clearly articulating our unique value proposition.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on sales efforts.
- Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and updates to the team on key metrics and progress.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or a related field (experience may vary based on seniority level).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and articulate ideas concisely and effectively.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to identify opportunities and solve problems creatively.
- A results-oriented mindset with a high level of ambition and a strong work ethic.
