Store Assistant duties and responsibilities

Duties include helping our customers identify and purchase items, restocking the retail space, and creating appealing merchandize displays. The primary responsibilities of this role include coordinating plant sales activities, assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities :

1. Coordinate all aspects of plant sales, including inventory management, pricing, and customer inquiries. Coordinates offsite and seasonal sale.

2. Assist customers in selecting plants, providing information on care and maintenance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

3. Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.

4. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.

5. Assist with administrative tasks, not limiting to answering phones/emailsenquiries, marketing taskand filing paperwork.

6. Assist with special projects and events, including promotional activities and community outreach efforts.

Requirements:

2. N-level or equivalent or higher; additional education or training in horticulture or business administration is a plus.

3. Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or administrative support preferred.

4. Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and horticultural principles is desirable.
