Our client is an international chemical trading and investment MNC backed by a blue-chip parent co which is stable and established. It is based in town (right next to a MRT station).
For this role, key responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
(a) Sales & marketing of PVC & PVC related products
(b) Correspond and arrange with suppliers, clients & overseas offices.
(c) To report to superior on the progress of discussions/meetings with clients & customers.
(d) The incumbent must be prepared to work overtime when required as well as go overseas for business trips (estimated around 1 to 2 trips per mth)
(B) Requirements
1) Degree or Diploma holder in any discipline
2) Preferably have 2-5 years working experience in sales or in import & export business (forwarding & trading activities) gained in a trading company
3) Knowledge of Plastics industry is preferred but this is not a must
4) Knowledge on Letter of Credit (preferred)
5) Knowledge on SAP will be an advantage (not a must)
6) Able to work well as a team member
7) Must be computer literate and able to use MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
8) Able to travel (estimated 1 to 2 trips per month)
