Purpose and Scope:

The AVP/Senior Principal C&S Engineer plays a pivotal role as a Project Lead to a project; the PE is responsible for the design and supervisory work, and any combination of Civil & Structural engineering work. These involves inspection, investigations, evaluation, or testing and commissioning. In addition, the QP is required to perform essential endorsements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the checking and design of civil and structural works from concept to detailed design and provision of QP supervisory works for projects
• Conversant and ensure that project complies to local code and authority requirement
• Preparation of submissions to statutory agencies and authorities
• Able to perform analysis and/or guide engineers to analyze building or civil structures and provide technical advice and solutions when working with stakeholders
• Able to take on Project Manager or Project Director appointment
• Carry out project management, planning, financial management of project, contract administration, ensure key deadlines are met and staff work together effectively
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders for civil structure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works
• Preparation of tender documents and specifications
• Ensure design for safety is adhered to and manage the works of RE and RTO on site
• Design management, coordination with contractors, subcontractors and external consultants
• Proactive communication, mentoring and guiding the reporting Engineers and Designers to develop their potential
• Ensure the smooth completion of the project within schedule and budget
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in C&S Engineering accredited by Professional Engineer Board, Singapore.
• Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore/ Specialized Professional Engineer
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry, preferably in consultancy firm
• Conversant in Engineering analysis design software, BIM software, Geotechnical Software
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Singaporean only
