Key Responsibilities

• Market company’s entire product range and prospects for customers across assigned territories.
• Manage the entire customer sales cycle, including pre-sales, post-sales, etc.
• Respond to the functional and technical aspects of customers' requests for quotations, enquiries, and orders.
• Responsible for representing products to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, or trade shows.
• Develop sales tactics, set sales targets, and proceed to meet targets set for designated areas.
• Coordinate with other departments to organize work processes.
• Perform timely management reports.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a similar industry.
• Knowledge in Machinery & Generators (Standby Generator/Parallel Generator) would be an advantage.

• Developing strategies to improve sales.
• Handling customer complaints.
• Assisting with the recruitment of sales staff.
• Delegating tasks to the sales staff in the absence of the sales manager.
• Achieving sales targets and executing sales plans.
• Building relationships with old and existing customers.
• Monitoring the performance of the sales staff.

• Attend to customer inquiries, quotations, and taking of orders from the customers. Involved in the coordination works for fulfilling the customer's order requirements.
• Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines.
• Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company.
• Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time.
• Report any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate Sales Manager immediately
• Understand customer's requirements, provide advice and assistance to customers with regard to technical issues.
• Able to work independently, strong initiative as well as a team player.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of sales support working experience. Relevant experience in Marine Industry is an added advantage.
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level.
• Good communication skills & good computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in SAP system is preferred.
• Able to start work immediately.

• Manage, train, and monitor team members and team leads.
• Direct and assign employees as needed to ensure all aspects of quality product or service delivery.
• Monitor employee compliance with operational standards, along with other department and company policies and practices.
• Manage and make appropriate adjustments to staffing levels, inventory levels, and production cost control.
• Complete weekly inventory as needed.
• Reinforce customer service standards and ensure all employees are focused on always serving the customer.
• Assist in administrative duties including maintenance of files, records, and all required documentation.
• Manage departmental budgets or specific budget line items; review and approve purchases as needed.
• Monitor equipment and purchase of materials to meet demands of location, shift, or season.
• Immediately and respectfully respond to guest requests; report guest complaints to immediate supervisor and assists in resolving such complaints.
• Establish performance goals according to company philosophy for employees’ assigned role.
• Perform personnel management functions that include hiring, terminating, maintaining discipline, administering performance reviews and wage changes.
• Review sales reports, production reports, department expenses, labor costs, associate attendance reports, and other reports and documents related to company operations.
• Review and make changes to personnel assignments with managers and supervisors to ensure that the best employees are in each position.
• Make recommendations to manager according to production/service needs and production sales plans.
• Coordinate workflow between departments and work areas.
• Review budgetary variances and discrepancies with each department manager or supervisor in assigned group.
• Review accounts receivable and assist with collection as assigned by location manager.

• Understand our salon products & services.

• Coordinating the implementation of the Safe Management Measures for the store.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop area & understanding the importance of hygiene and cleanliness of the shop.

• Ability to handle customers' requests and complaints with grace.

• Establish contact and developing relationships with customers.

• Recommend hairstyle, coloring and treatment, according to the client’s preference.

• Hands-on experience in coloring, rebonding, hair setting, hair perm techniques.

• Style customer's hair to desired effect, including shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, etc.

• Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)

• Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered.

• ordering and replenishing supplies, completing accounting duties, adhering to hygiene standards, and overseeing customer service.

• Inform clients about new services, Promotions and discounts.

• Liaise with external Marketing Company on the Salon promotion campaign & advertising.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 year working experience.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Friendly, outgoing, creative mindset and a good eye for design.

• Able to work any shift or split shift

• Able to work OT on weekends and public holiday.
