The intern will be primarily responsible for policing corporate data entry standards and ensuring hotels and Global Sales Offices are meeting the corporate requirements when creating Company and Travel Agent account profiles in the central system.

The intern will expect to gain deeper understanding in the Sales and Sales Management landscape of Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG), and acquire knowledge in the following areas:

· Learn about the Corporate Request for Proposals (RFPs) process

· Identify key criteria and requirements when building RFPs for hotels to complete and submit proposals

· Guide PPHG hotels sales teams and the Global Sales team on specific corporate data entry standards when creating Company and Travel Agent account profiles in the central system

· Generate accounts production reports for Global Sales managed accounts

· Obtain an in-depth understanding of how actual Global Sales production numbers are measured against approved individual and team targets for the year

The Person:

· Basic knowledge of MS office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Knowledge of Excel and Pivot Tables will be an added advantage

· Analytical mind set and meticulous when handling numbers

· Takes initiative to follow-up on tasks without being asked to

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision

· Self-motivated, curious to explore and eager to learn

· Positive attitude towards learning and professional when writing business-related communications

ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

 To achieve the sales target set by the company.

 Ensure payments are received; and settle any dispute that may arise.

 To handle yourself professionally so as to upkeep the image and prestige of the company.

 Provide on the ground support for sales team as they generate leads and close new deals.

 To communicate and ensure that the installation contractors and our project team are familiar with the requirements of the projects, and to see to it that the job is properly and professionally carried out.

 Develop plans for the sales team to acquire new customers or clients, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business to business marketing visits.

 Submit daily activity report to Sales Manager

 To attend daily meeting and provide updates

 To perform Technical work when required

 To perform research and development on new products

 Any other duties assigned by Head of Department

Job Description & Requirements

• Involve in sales & project coordination for IT system / Security system (system training will be provided to understand what kind of solutions we are providing)
• Identify, understand and propose suitable solutions to meet customer’s needs and requirements. (training will be provided)
• Attend to sales enquiries, sales support
• Visit customers at their work place/office with business development manager or director
• Liaise with clients, vendors and team members to coordinate for on going projects
• Email communication skill
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Independent, energetic, customer driven and self-motivated.
• Min 2 years experience

Job Descriptions:

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma in Engineering & related field.
2. At least 2 Years of working experience in IT or relevant field.
3. Good communication and presentation skill.
4. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
