JOB SCOPE

Sales Engineer shall be responsible for

• Develop and implementation of strategic sales and action plans to expand overall business growth;
• Perform product sales introduction and technical presentations to customers;
• In charge of creating sales pipeline from lead generation, sales engagement, negotiation to closing;
• To build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders;
• Maintaining a collaborative and constructive exchange as an integral part of product & marketing team;
• Maintaining and improving leads records in CRM timely and accurately manner;
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain regular updates on sales opportunities;
• Monitor and analyses of market, company and competitor performance/activities and proactively recommend changes to the company initiatives; and
• Any other adhoc job assigned.

• Supervising a team of retail assistants to ensure smooth operation
• Responsible for the sales of your category of products
• Handle inventory management, housekeeping and merchandising
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
• Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash or other credit cards
• Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally

Requirement:

Willing to work on roster based on retail hours.

Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working hours:

• 6 days roster based (retail hour 10am to 10pm)
• 1 weekday off

Job Description:
- Maintain or enhance some of existing businesses.
- Develop new business with existing and new customers finding out their needs and introduce alternative products.
- Support both customers and suppliers on evaluation of products providing customer’s feedback with data to the supplier for suggestions or introduce alternative grade based on the feedback.
- Prepare and review quotations.
- Follow up with customers on payment issues (if any) or any customer feedback.
- Inventory control.
- Source suitable suppliers from various countries (using company subsidiary network).
- Take proactive actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Submit weekly report on sales activities to Assistant Sales Manager.
- Submit data for budget meeting (every June and December).
- Any other ad hoc suitable duties assigned

Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of B2B sales working experience in handling of electronics/semiconductor materials (e.g. adhesive, chemical products used in front-back process of semiconductor, etc.) and/or sales of equipment.
- Experienced in Trading business of various materials, deal with end-users and suppliers.
- Highly motivated and proactive approach to potential business and establish good relationship with customers and suppliers.
- Able to travel overseas
- Proficiency in Japanese speaking and writing is preferable to communicate with Japan HQ, but not a must
- Possess own car is an added advantage

Compensation:
- Working location: Central, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
- AWS (1.5 months)
- Car allowance $850 (if own a car)
- Transport allowance $100 (for those who do not own a car)
- Medical claim $4,000 annually including $200 for dental claim annually
- Annual leave starting with 14 days, additional 1 day every year (maximum 24 days)
