The Assistant Manager in the Corporate Branding & Strategy Division will work closely with direct manager to develop and execute communication plans by following strategy and direction. Our primary mission is to enhance brand value and build a positive reputation for the MOL brand across the region through various touchpoints, including the corporate website, social media, local and regional media, events, etc.

In addition, we collaborate with various divisions and entities to improve employee experiences and engagement through internal communications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Branding:

i. Collaborating closely with managers to assist in developing and executing the brand communication plans.

3. Internal Communication: Enhance employee engagement and workplace experience.

i. Assisting and/or collaborating with managers to develop and execute an internal communication plan, including events, to foster transparency in information and knowledge sharing. This will help employees understand MOL's brand value, business operations, diverse talents, and future opportunities across entities and local countries in the Asia and Oceania region.

4. Crisis Communication:

i. Understand and follow crisis procedures as instructed and guided by GHQ.

iii. Assisting to provide regional crisis communication guidance and training to employees.

5. Manage relevant outsources and partners:

1. Education:

- A degree or diploma in communication, branding, marketing, or a relevant field is an advantage. But also, we will prioritize applicants' work experience and skills in the relevant area.

- Experience working in branding and/or corporate communication within the maritime industry is an advantage.

As Sales Manager within the Construction, Transport and Industrial (CT&I) Sales team, you will be responsible for driving incremental new business to DLL by both Relationship Management and Business Development activity, across a mix of DLL’s global and local Construction, Transport and Industrial vendor/dealer partnerships, and direct customers, in Singapore. The role will also be a key liaison on designated accounts with internal departments of DLL including Sales Support, Credit, Operations, Collections, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Asset Management.

Based in Singapore, the role will be directly responsible for key designated accounts/ segments, with an individual sales target. Day to day

· Expand and maintain existing partnerships through proactive relationship management. Increase new business volume and DLL share of partner business, through customer visits, deal structuring, problem solving, and process improvements.

· Develop and execute program management strategies to exceed sales budgets in place for existing partners including new business volume, margin and fee income with pipeline management.

· Develop new programs with global and local partners in Construction, Transport and Industrial industries to drive business growth, leveraging DLL’s global network of partners as well as local relationships.

· Training and development of partner sales teams to ensure high levels of finance penetration and attraction of a high-quality customer base.

· Handle first-line escalation for non-standard enquiries, including pricing, changes in Terms & Conditions, priority deal management and settlement exceptions. Also act as first-line support for partner queries on deal status for designated accounts and other matters.

· Work with partners to drive efficiencies and process improvement, in particular to streamline the handling of incoming applications, approvals and settlements as required.

· Work with customers direct to meet their broader finance requirements, that also fall outside of DLL-partner-led business.

· Identify and resolve problems before they impact on the vendor and/or their customers.

Essentials

· Minimum 10 years experience in a vendor or channel-focused finance sales / business development role, including success in developing new partner programs.

· Strong understanding of equipment financing in the Construction, Transport and Industrial markets, including a high technical competence in equipment finance products and associated processes.

· Deadline driven, and with excellent time management skills.

· Self-starter, able to self-motivate and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with an adaptive approach.

· Positive, can-do attitude is essential with a high attention to detail and a strong compliance focus

· Excellent communication skills – verbal & written.

Job scope:

• Follow up with site walk and client enquiry for the new job or project and work together with project engineer and manager for the quotation and tender submission, ensuring purchase order is secured.

• Prepare quotation, budget plan and submission to have approval from project engineer or manager.
