Purpose:

Lead and deliver the Go to Market Strategy for Channel Markets – Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines to generate the expected revenue and profit from the region whilst establishing a strong future business pipeline.

Manage transition as Ingenico Channel Markets evolves and changes from a hardware to hardware, software, and service model.

Directly manage the sales and marketing team and coordinate with the other local functional leads (R&D, Operations, Finance, HR) to align a team of 40 employees in Channels.

• Lead, manage and evolve the business to ensure that the region achieves its financial objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws
• Maintain effective relationships with the main clients and industry leaders
• Continue to expand the focus of the business to provide customer- focused payments solutions that draw together software, services and hardware to generate creative new revenue streams and protects margins
• Engage employees to improve performance, productivity and workplace satisfaction
• Deliver an operation that complies with the Group strategy and contributes to the overall corporate plan
• Represent the Company and its values in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, commercial and investment groups and professional bodies
• Provide financial and non-financial reports and forecasts

Experience:

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in sales and marketing with proven high-growth results and at least 5 years in an international company.
• Leadership experience of a team of 15 people or more.
• Experience gained primarily within technology, software, IT services with strong client exposure to financial services and/or retail clients with reputable multinational firms.
• Experience in leading a software-driven business is a strong advantage.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability.
• Experience in selling complex, high-value technology-driven solutions beyond the IT department.
• Experience in managing high-value strategic relationships.

Qualification:

• Relevant qualification in business, management, leadership

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

- Develop and grow key accounts in the Oil & Gas sector, Pharmaceutical and other industrial sectors contribute company growth objectives in Singapore.

- Provide technical sales support and consultation to clients for the sale of electrical products in order to develop business opportunities and penetrate clients.

- Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and develop new or existing customers including: take-offs, project quotations, closing orders, preparation of submittals and resolving customer problems.

- Meet or exceed budgeted sales and gross margin targets with assigned accounts.

- Focus on identifying specific technical requirements of customers while simultaneously collecting commercial and competitive information associated with each account

- Cultivate effective long-term relationships at all levels of the customer organization.

- Attain expert knowledge of products, electrical goods market and competition.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Formal Electrical Engineering qualification (Diploma/Certification)

- Strong technical and commercial background.

- Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven sales experience to industrial customers

- Electrical product knowledge

- Very strong consultative selling, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- Resourceful and results-oriented.

- Team player who works well in global teams

- Good command of spoken/written English

- Have own car
